Extra medullary Plasmacytoma of nasal cavity- A rare case report

چکیده

Extramedullary plasmacytoma is a rare neoplasm characterized by monoclonal proliferation of plasma cells and accounts for about 3 - 5% all cell neoplasms including bone extramedullary tumors. Plasmacytomas are more predominant in males who the 5th – 6th decade. It most often located head neck region. usually affects upper respiratory tract 80% cases 15% spread to cervical lymph nodes. They present as rhinorrhea, epistaxis nasal obstruction. Approximately progress myeloma 25% have local recurrence, may regional nodes or metastasize distant sites.
